Note that the Department of Biochemistry & Biomedical Sciences and other affiliated departments offer 12-week courses that are equivalent to one half of a full graduate course while the Department of Chemistry offers 6-week modules that are equivalent to one-quarter of a full graduate course.

Candidates for the Ph.D. degree must complete the CHEM BIO 701 course if this course was not completed at the M.Sc. level. There are no other formal course requirements. All Ph.D. students must also enroll in either the CHEM BIO *701 or CHEM BIO 702 colloquium course.
